Tierra Verde is located in North Shoreview, San Mateo, just blocks from a children’s park and the beautiful San Francisco Bay Trail. Weather permitting, children play outside for approximately 90 minutes each morning and afternoon. Our daycare consists of two locations just a short walk away from each other:
N. Quebec: A welcoming, cozy home for our older children, 18 months-3 years old. It is secure with a large, fenced in backyard with children’s playsets including swings, slides and a jungle gym. A big sand box full of surprises completes the fun of the large, shaded deck. The living room is filled with carefully selected learning materials that strengthen fine motor skills as well as hand-eye coordination, skills that are basic for writing. Inside, the children play and have circle time in the living room, while meals are served in the dining room area. The bedrooms are reserved for napping, with sleeping mats provided.
